Maltese Hyoseris/Gozo Hyoseris
In Maltese this plant is known as Żigland t'Għawdex, since it was first discovered in Gozo. In fact, it is very frequent and widely spread in Gozo, but very rare in Malta.
It occurs in habitats such as cliffs, coastal garigues, rubble walls and shady areas.
It is a perennial species and flowers all year round. It is very easy to cultivate by seeds.
