The Blue Pimpernel
The Blue Pimpernel (Ħarira Kaħla in Maltese) is a very common flower found growing in a variety of habitats from garigue to disturbed grounds.
The plant has weak stems, growing up to 50 cm, bearing bright green oval leaves, in opposite pairs. The flowers are produced in the leaf axils from February to July.
